I recently purchased a Delonghi escam coffee maker bean to cup for £279 in the shops they are £400 the service us Great Amber the sakes lady was very friendly answered and queries j had I only waited 3 weeks the product3 comes from Europe but us supplied with an adapter Very pleased and a very Happy Bunny

I initially had some concerns about keeping it due to my extremely small space, and what I appreciated was that Rose and others I dealt with at Coffee Friend didn't pressure me but gave me time to make a decision and offered the return option without any negativity. I did decide to keep the machine, and am very, very happy I did. Rose, the Sales Manager, in particular went above and beyond to deal with a small issue I had with the machine. We have had a Delonghi bean to cup machine for 7 years and it has served us very well but decided to upgrade as a present for my husband’s birthday. After much deliberation, we decided upon the Sage SES920. I was disappointed to find that it was out of stock at Sage, John Lewis and Amazon (my usual go-to contacts) and I then came across The Coffee Mate/Coffee Friend UK. Not only was the machine in stock but it was £120 less than anywhere else! I contacted the ChatLine and communicated with Rose who was extremely helpful and efficient and it was only at that point that I realised the machine would be coming from Europe, although she assured me that Express Delivery could be arranged and that the machine would be with me the following day. I placed the order with fingers crossed as I was a little sceptical about it reaching me in the timeframe mentioned. True to Rose’s word, the coffee machine arrived via TNT within 24 hours -the tracking process available throughout was fascinating to witness. The machine arrived well packaged and in first-class condition. The Customer Service and tracking provided by Coffee Friend has been first class. They are extremely efficient, easy and pleasant to deal with and their communication throughout the process is excellent. I would highly recommend them and will be spreading the word....

Sorry I reviewed the coffee machine and not the supplier! I ordered on Friday but had a call on Monday to say it was out-of-stock. I was offered an alternative version of the Gaggia Viva at the same price and accepted. It arrived the next day by courier. And a few days later I had an email receipt for the changed version. All said this was excellent service!

I almost bought a Sylvia, but decided on the Lelit Anna instead. It has a built in PID to control temperature and it warms up full operating temperature within 10 minutes, against 30 minutes for the Sylvia. It is beautifully made

After much investigation I identified the Coffee machine I wanted for my wife, found a good price on TheCoffeeMate website, ordered it, contacted customer services, spoke with Alice who was truly brilliant, very professional, quick to respond and follow up.
