“KB90” is the ultimate evolution of the “Linea PB” form. Designed specially to optimise the workflow for baristas in the world’s busiest bars, it boasts improved ergonomics and features. The straight-in portafilter improves the movements of brewing and eases the strain on the barista that may cause repetitive stress injuries. Efficiency is also increased thanks to “Steam Flush”: after each extraction, a burst of steam from the steam boiler purges the brewing path and is followed by a flush of hot water, keeping the group clean even during the busiest hours. This innovative feature minimises coffee residue in the group and reduces the number of times baristas need to backflush during service. Moreover, “KB90” allows for a whole new level of expression in terms of looks: the panels of this elegant model have been engineered in a way that allows for virtually infinite customisation combinations.

Straight-in portafilter

Designed to simplify the motions required to engage the portafilter, this innovative tool reduces the strain placed on the barista by as many as 12 times. Through its ease of action, the straight-in portafilter can noticeably mitigate repetitive stress injuries, improving the natural workflow and output of baristas. 

Dual boilers

Separate boilers optimise brewing and steam production.

Separate saturated boilers for each group head allow baristas to optimise the temperature for individual coffees.

Automatic brewing ratio/”Drip Prediction” (optional) 

Precision scales incorporated into the drip tray improve consistency by stopping the extraction based on mass. The machine uses an algorithm called “Drip Prediction” to improve shot accuracy.
