– “Ichibancha” means “first tea”, referring to the first harvest of tea leaves in the spring.
– Ceremonial-grade matcha.
– Delicate floral aromas mixed with beautifully balanced sweet and savoury notes, and topped off with a bright, grassy finish.
– To experience the best that this matcha has to offer, it’s recommended to brew it in the traditional, ceremonial manner, or mix with cold water—still or sparkling—for a refreshingly cool drink.
TIP: Avoid boiling water when making matcha! Temperatures of over 70 °C will extract the bitter tannins in your tea rather than the deliciously sweet notes.
HOW TO PREPARE?

– Pour matcha powder into a pre-warmed bowl.

– Add the remaining 55 ml of water, then continue whisking until combined.
